“Forced to new Bonvoy that’s isn’t compatible with my iPhone — Been using the iPhone app since it was first released. The new app requires iOS 18, but I have an older iPhone X that only supports iOS 16. Why disenfranchise a group of users?” — ★☆☆☆☆ · English“Thanks for the overnight forced update — After a one week stay at a high-end Marriott, I woke up to find that they had pushed an upgrade that was no longer compatible with my iPhone X. Now I can’t even check out through the app. Delete.” — ★☆☆☆☆ · English“Will only work with iOS 18! — I have an older iPhone 13 and do not want to update iOS because of so many complaints that it radically degrades performance on older phones, but now Bonvoy blocks my app. I literally see the working app underneath the “Please update” overlay. Please turn off this overlay for folks like me. I’m not gonna brick my iPhone for one app.” — ★★☆☆☆ · English

We have not read this app's reviews yet. Apple rations that feed to about one page per address every ten minutes and refuses datacentre addresses, so the reading is done by hand — the rating above is live, the complaints are not there yet.
