Package tracking timestamps change retroactively

3of the 15 read20%

Tracking timestamps are inaccurate and change after the fact to make delivery times look better, causing package delays.

“A bunch of lies — The time they post of “arrived/ departed USPS facility” is BS! Times change to make them look better. Example: it had said it had departed USPS at 10pm last night. I checked this morning and now it says departed USPS at 9am today. So what departed at 10pm last night? Now my package is late. I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t even show up. And it had to get real customer service. Garbage! 0/5 stars!” — ★☆☆☆☆“SLOW AND BAD — Inaccurate and Slow updates” — ★☆☆☆☆“Not so efficient — It does not work anymore. When I first downloaded it, the app worked okay. Sometimes it was right, most of the time it was not. It told me that packages were delivered when there was none. Then it stopped working completely.” — ★☆☆☆☆

“Frustrating — I never can log on easily-it never takes my password, which is correct, therefore I’m always having to change my password. App does not give me the option to use my facial ID. It is not an easy app to use even though I do enjoy knowing what mail I’m receiving via the daily email.” — ★★☆☆☆“Low quality app — This app is garbage. It does not allow you to remain logged in. It is just USPS’s webpages with an app icon. I have to log into my account every time I schedule a pickup. Do better.” — ★★☆☆☆“Locked out of account — I have been locked out (account disabled) with no way of getting any help. When I tried to call the 800 number given I was told that I could not call that number from my location. I still get emails showing me what mail I am expecting today, but can’t track any packages.” — ★☆☆☆☆

We have not read this app's reviews yet. Apple rations that feed to about one page per address every ten minutes and refuses datacentre addresses, so the reading is done by hand — the rating above is live, the complaints are not there yet.
